The TechHelp New Product Development Team at Boise State stands ready to help Idaho inventors, entrepreneurs and manufacturers with product design, prototyping and design for manufacturing.  The Team includes a blend of Boise State professors, mechanical engineers and Boise State engineering students who work together to provide quality services at affordable prices. TechHelp’s NPD team brings vibrant energy and creative new ideas to your project. Our specialists are particularly experienced in new product design and re-engineering existing products. Up to 70% of a product’s costs are established in the design phase. A strategic change in materials or simplification of components can result in major cost savings that could mean the difference between market success and failure. Our NPD operation at the College of Engineering at Boise State gives us close proximity to a variety of engineering resources such as CAD software, rapid prototyping machines, a CNC milling machine, test equipment and the vast experience of university professors.
